Justice and Equity Task Group
As Disciples of Christ, we believe strongly in Justice. Indeed, we are a pro-reconciliation denomination and are a movement for wholeness in the fractured world.
The ministry of this task group at Centennial Christian Church is centered in addressing justice issues such as food insecurity, houselessness, standing with marginalized populations and supporting our community such that all are welcomed, honored and cared for. We seek to make our facility welcoming to all. We encourage participation in community meetings with Centennial Neighborhood Association, legislative participation regarding houseless issues with Leaven, Land and Housing and have worked to establish Centennial Christian Church as an Open & Affirming congregation. Regular meetings are the 3rd Saturday of the month at 11 am.
