Annual Book and School Supply Drive for Powell Butte Elementary
For over a decade, Centennial Christian Church has paired with the school to purchase books and school supplies. We spend the summer collecting the supplies, then come together late in August to prepare multiple containers of requested supplies for each of the teachers. We call this Church Leaves the Building. On this day, we also have a work day to spruce up their school grounds and any other tasks that need attending to. We mow, power wash, lay bark, paint, etc. Then we all come together for lunch. All volunteers are welcome to join in this community event!
